Top 10 hardest game modes

Crab Game’s game modes are completely unique and interesting, heavily inspired by real-life children’s games.

While Fall Guys has a similar essence, it can’t compare to the weirdness and craziness of Crab Game.

Such game modes are riddled with bugs, clumsiness, and instability. All these aspects only serve to make the game more fun.

I will go over the top 10 hardest game modes to survive in Crab Game for today’s list.

These are the game modes where you are most likely to get eliminated from the match.

You will probably roll your eyes already when you see the name appear, but I will also give tips to avoid deletion 🙂

10) Death from above

Rules: Get into the lighted areas before the ground collapses from above.

Push simulator, each cube only has space for a few players. In this game mode, you will often get out of safety.

The key here is to be aggressive, pushing players as often as you can.

9) Hide and Seek

Rules: The hiders must stay alive while the seekers try to kill them. If a seeker removes a hider, they will become a hider themselves.

Hide and Seek is a difficult game mode to play as a seeker, but very easy as a hide-and-seek.

Just get up and you’ll be pretty much safe for the entire round as seekers chase down those hiding downstairs.

As a seeker, you must hit a player 4 times to eliminate them and become a hider. Even if there are a lot of players, it can be difficult to corner a person, as they can push you away before running.

8) Adhesive label

Rules: Some players start with a stick, hit another player to pass it. At the end of time, any player holding a stick will be eliminated.

When you get hit, the sheer force of the wooden stick launches you across the map. For this reason, it pays to keep your back against a wall or object at all times, so you can quickly pass the club back.

If there are only a few players left, it can be tedious work passing the stick, almost impossible against good players.

7) Block Drop

Rules: Blocks continuously fall from the sky, dodge and climb to stay alive.

Extremely skill-based, falling blocks require you to keep moving and thinking ahead. If you can put together a pattern of treble crochets to stick to, you should be fine.

Otherwise, keep moving and try to push players into spaces they can’t get out of.

6) red light green light

Rules: Try to get to the end of the map, don’t move while the statue has its head turned or elimination face.

Possibly the most recognizable game mode in any of these survival minigames, Red Light Green Light is always a fun experience.

While it’s easy enough to react and avoid getting eliminated, dealing with other players is the hard part. They are constantly trying to push you or block you in any way they can.

The icy variant is particularly difficult to complete as there is less friction, which means you have less time to stop.

5) King of the Hill

Rules: Go up the hill and stay inside the zone to earn points. At the end of time, the players with the fewest points are eliminated. Players are equipped with a powerful baseball bat.

Usually located right on top of a hill surrounded by parkour mazes to complete is King of the Hill, a difficult game mode to play.

No one can stay in the zone for more than a few seconds. It’s a constant war of trying to get to the top while other players beat you up on the map.

Especially difficult with a large number of players, the victors of this mode usually come down to who can get to the top first.

4) The floor is lava

Rules: Stay on top of the floating platforms, don’t fall into the water/lava. Platforms can break after a short delay.

Most players just stay on their platform for most of the time, only moving when absolutely necessary.

However, I prefer to ambush unsuspecting players, giving more room to maneuver as more platforms drop.

Starting a Floor is Lava game with 40 players, fewer than a dozen end up surviving. This shows you how difficult this game mode is!

3) Pump Label

Rules: Some players start holding a bomb, they pass it to other players by tagging them. After a set period of time, the bomb will explode and eliminate the possessor, then new bombs will be distributed.

Very fun but also quite dangerous, tag bombing can be a terrifying experience. The pressure is huge when holding a bomb and it’s hard to give it to other players.

If you’re unlucky enough to be at the bottom of the map, just barely in range of any other player, chances are you won’t survive.

Ever since snowballs were added to Crab Game, it has become even more difficult to survive in bomb tag as players push you before you get close.

2) career

Rules: Avoid obstacles to reach the end of the finish line.

Unless you’ve practiced for hours, Crab Game’s race tracks are some of the toughest in modern video games.

Buckets of bugs, seemingly random collisions, and tricky obstacles make for a frustratingly difficult experience.

Fall and water damage add even more opportunities to get knocked out. This doesn’t even take other players into account, as they will constantly try to stifle your efforts.

1) stone steps

Rules: Cross the bridge by jumping on the platform, but choose carefully, one platform from each row will break!

Either you get a handful of players taking one for the team and getting lucky with their jumps, or they’re all left waiting for their inevitable fate.

Even if some tiles are removed, players love to stand and push anyone who tries to progress further.

It is such a fun game mode full of surprises every time. However, no other game mode will kill you as often as this one. It’s all about luck with almost no real skill involved.
