While the official release date is still unknown, Minecraft 1.20 it has been confirmed to be released this 2023. Update 1.20 will introduce new biomes, mobs and many other updates, and here are our favorites:

Different biomes in Minecraft offer distinctive specialties with their own type of resources, mobs, and minerals, and choosing the right biome for your home is very important. There are currently 23 different Minecraft biomes to explore in both the overworld and the nether regions, and these are:
- Flat
- Jungle
- bamboo jungle
- Forest
- Mountain
- taiga
- Desert
- ice spikes
- snowy tundra
- Swamp
- stone coast
- Sheet
- Beach
- bad country
- ,mOcean
- River
- basalt deltas
- mushroom island
- crimson forest
- soul sand valley
- warped forest
- crimson forest
- nether wastes
- The end
As if these 23 biomes weren’t enough, Minecraft 1.20 has decided to give us a new biome to explore called the cherry blossom biome. This biome is similar to the forest biome, but has unique cherry blossoms, saplings, and plants with new leaf colors and wood sets. Fans are already looking forward to exploring this beautiful biome when it comes out.

7 new default skins
As minecraft tweeted: Minecraft 1.20 is designed to inspire self-expression, role-playing, and storytelling through the worlds of Minecraft! The 1.20 update will give people more avatar options to choose from to better represent who they are.
New animal mobs
The Minecraft 1.20 update will also introduce two new animal mobs: camels and crawlers. Camels features include the ability to Dash and escape Hostile Mobs, transport two players in a single ride, and spawn baby camels eating cacti. Meanwhile, Sniffers are ancient animals that sniff out seeds and can discover useful decorative plants that you can use.

New wooden games and decorative blocks
There are 3 decorative blocks and wooden sets in the new Minecraft 1.20 update. These are hanging banners, bamboo wood and chiseled bookcases.
Hanging signs have unique visual styles and are made of wood and chains. They can be hung under narrow objects, to the side, or under blocks.
Bamboo Wood is the newest wooden game for Minecraft and it includes a special block called Bamboo Mosaic Block. Another variant of the Boats, called the Bamboo Raft, was also revealed.
Last but not least, the chiseled bookshelves allow you to store up to 6 books inside, including Book and Quills as well as Enchanted books.
New features and items
