Top 10 Weapons in Fallout 76

For today’s list, as well as some future lists, we’re going to get into one of my newest favorite games to play. That’s right, time for some fellow Fallout 76 Survivors! Now, I know that there are many weapons in the game; that can be crafted or modded, not only that, but also the perks that complement those weapons (which I’ll also cover next time). That said, if you’re anything like me and the plethora of others who play survival RPGs, then you also love using those weapons that you make specifically for your style of play!

Be it explosives, scientific type weapons, melee weapons or just regular ranged weapons. So let’s dive into today’s list and see which ones I have chosen as the top ten weapons in Fallout 76 that are fun, useful, or just plain bad. Trust me, it wasn’t easy! Come on, Vault Hunter!

On a side note, since most of these can be created and removed from the RNG by just about anything; I will not say where these weapons fall and what these weapons fall!

10. Orbital Scanning and Attack Beacons

This set of weapons is new to the Fallout-verse (as far as I know), quite fun, and can be very useful when dealing with too many enemies at once, shooting them from orbit; That’s right, you guessed it! He’s the guy from Orbital Scan and Strike Beacons!

The reason this first one has two combos is because they can be used as a combo weapon, which works as one. I know that they they do not have to be used together to work, but honestly I like it and I think it feels like a two hit combination. One scans and tags all enemies in the immediate vicinity, the other is the target beacon for the orbital strike pack (FYI, that’s a huge laser beam! Hammer of Dawn anyone?); therefore, using Scan Beacon first helps you know where and when to place Strike Beacon for maximum enemy kills.

Once you use them, don’t worry, there are plans that allow you to craft more, so rest assured, you can still use your Gears of War in Fallout 76.

9. Handmade rifle

What can I say about this next weapon? The handmade rifle, a fan favorite and very popular with you riflemen! To me, it looks like a beat-up AK-47, but that’s probably because it was based on Fallout Lore and also; Who doesn’t like an AK-47? I know what I do.

This versatile weapon can be crafted and modified by yourself, in case you can’t get your hands on one, either for medium to short range combat making it fully automatic or long range combat using a Recon Scope being semi-automatic almost like a sniper. . Also, combine the perks Bandolier to make all ammo types weigh less, Riflemen for semi-auto rifles (or Commando if you choose to make it an auto rifle) to increase damage, and Tank Killer to increase armor penetration.

So by having such a weapon in your arsenal of post-apocalyptic weaponry, you would be one step ahead of your enemies and one step to staying alive longer.

8. Nuka Quantum Grenades

The following is one of my many favorites and also an old but good one in the Fallout-verse and my friends are Nuka Quantum Grenades! Yes, the same Nuka Quantum grenades created from Nuka Cola Quantum and originated in the previous Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4 games. In fact, Nuka Cola Quantum was created by total accident from Project Cobalt, a scientific experiment on the isotope Strontium-90.

Which resulted in Nuka Quantum Grenades, a fun little explosive that deals a lot of damage; especially with the advantages Grenadier for a larger blast radius, Demolition Expert for extra damage and Bloody Mess to make things more… bloody.

Fun fact: The Nuka Cola brand was based on a merger of Coca Cola and Pepsi, and can be created repeatedly if you have the resources. So I recommend finding the plans to have an explosive time!

7. Frag Grenade MIRV

Next up is another fun little explosive invention, the MIRV Frag Grenade. A grenade in the same category as the classic frag grenade, except that it breaks apart into a handful of miniature frag grenades.

Create another perfect and fun weapon to use in the middle of a horde of Ghouls, Super Mutants or Scorched attacking you that is also perfect for Demolition Expert perks to increase their damage and Grenadier for increased blast radius.

This weapon can also be crafted, just like Nuka Quantum Grenades, as long as you have the right resources.

6. Combat Shotgun

Coming in at number six is the combat shotgun, a weapon I’ve used; I have seen it used many times by friends and other players. A weapon with a hefty amount of damage and armor penetration once designed or modified the way you need it to be, not to mention if done right it could have a reason to fire.

Unlike Double Barrel and Pump Shotgun, Combat Shotgun is definitely the shotgun you want when fighting multiple enemies or even other players with the proper shotgun perks.

The best perks for shotguns are the three Shotgunner perks for extra damage, Scattershot for less weight and faster reload time, Skeet Shooter for excellent accuracy and better spread, and the last one is Enforcer for increased stagger chance. and limb disability.

5. Machine gun

Now that we’ve passed the halfway point on our list, it’s for those who love to use the biggest guns they can carry and this is the Minigun. Definitely in my own personal “Top 5” list of weapons, which you can craft or mod, the Minigun exerts a lot of energy in its blazingly fast rate of fire, built up after acceleration.

This is a must-have weapon when it comes to things like Scorchbeasts, Sheepsquatchs, Deathclaws, and Mirelurk Queens; just make sure you bring a lot of ammo Type! Speaking of which, it uses a substantial amount of 5MM rounds and carrying a good amount weighs you down, so use perks like Bandoloer to make all the ammo you carry weigh less, Strong Back for that extra weight.

The three Heavy Gunner perks for extra damage with non-explosive Heavy Guns, Bullet Shield for damage resistance when firing Heavy Guns, Bear Arms to make your Heavy Guns weigh less, and lastly One Gun Army to give Heavy Guns a increased wobbling and a chance of crippling limbs. If you intend to use Heavy Guns as your primary weapon, then you can’t go wrong with these perks.

4. Browser

The Broadsider got here because how awesome would it be to carry a cannon and blast your enemies with a hail of cannonballs?! That’s exactly what you get with this explosive heavy weapon, guys. Although I was a bit reprimanded for using it and I’ll be honest, I didn’t exactly have the best first impressions with it… I mean, I died when I first tried to use it… but then I saw another player. pull one out and start shooting Scorched and multiple Scorchbeasts!

It was enough to convince me that although it has a low rate of fire and slow reload time; It could still be useful and a lot of fun, especially once combined with the corresponding perks: Bandolier for ammo weight, Demolition Expert for extra damage, and Grenadier for increased blast radius.

3. Submachine gun

For number eight on our list, I thought I’d bring a weapon apparently based on the classic “Tommy Gun”, the submachine gun. A very versatile weapon for close to medium range combat, especially after modifying it to your specifications. Capable of holding a large drum of ammo once modified to do so, the rate of fire allows you to rain down all those bad guys on your tail.

Like all weapons and all other auto pistols, Bandolier is needed and Commando perks are used for bonus damage, although there has been confusion among other players with this given that an SMG is not inherently a rifle, but Fallout 76 does. classify in that category.

2. Light machine gun

Here, in the penultimate, is my favorite so far, the light machine gun. The weapon I used in conjunction with the Minigun to take down Scorchbeasts and Sheepsquatch. Like the Minigun, the LMG uses a lot of ammo with its superior rate of fire when taking down multiple enemies, so in addition to carrying a large number of .308 rounds, make sure you use the same perks you use with the Minigun, since it’s a heavy weapon like good!

However, there are many who will tell you to stay away from the LMG and use the .50 Cal or Gatling Laser. I still like to use it even though everyone says that. Ultimately, it is up to you and your personal preferences as well as your style of play.

1. skewer

Finally, at the top of our list isn’t the strongest of them all (although it should be stronger and get more notoriety) it’s the flaming Katana itself, the Shishkebab! A one handed melee weapon in a class of its own and dare I say the most fun of the one handed melee weapons? I sure think so!

I mean, aside from the fact that it’s a damn flaming sword, but it’s a Katana for the love of God. Being able to pierce through your enemies with a searing blade and intimidate those who look is what every fan of the sword desires.

So I highly recommend using Gladiator perks to have extra damage for one handed weapons, Incisor for armor penetration, Martial Artist to make melee weapons weigh less and swing faster, Makeshift Warrior to make melee weapons break slower and Ninja gives twice as much melee sneak attacks. , triple or quadruple the normal damage.
