10. Flint and Steel

Flint & Steel isn’t just a tool, lighting up the ground under mobs or players is an easy way to power them up. Not only does fire deal a lot of damage over a period of time, it reduces visibility against players, giving you a greater advantage. Mobs don’t walk around it, so lighting a block can cause an entire group to burn!
9. Spilled Potion Potion
How to get: Brew beer a poison potion with Gunpowder
When throwing a poison potion, it will explode in a small radius, applying the poison effect to any nearby creatures or players. You can also apply a constant effect by preparing it further with dragon breathcausing the poison gas to stick to the ground and apply poison to more enemies passing through it.
The poison reduces health over time, up to half a heart. Some disadvantages are the number of mobs that are immune to poison, such as the undead (such as skeletons and zombies) and spiders. Also, the poison never kills the enemy, so a final hit is required to finish it off.

How to get: Create a bucket, then use it on a lava fountain block.
Lava cubes are capable of submerging an entire area in a swath of hot, melting magma.
Any mob or player that enters the lava will catch fire for a short time.
The potential of zoning can be invaluable at times as it can make an entire area inaccessible.
Great for covering a retreat or taking out groups of pesky mobs.

A damage potion can deal up to 6 full hearts of damage if it’s of a high enough level, all in one area of effect. As you can imagine, such raw damage output can be devastating. Particularly powerful with the Lingering effect applied, producing a cloud of highly damaging smoke is pretty badass!
6. Stone ax
How to get: Crafts with Sticks & Pebble
Stone axes have the same damage as iron/diamond axes, just much cheaper to produce. Granted, stone gear has less durability, but the damage is pretty nice. While axes have low attack speed, each hit deals more damage than your normal stone or even iron sword.
In terms of attack speed, all stone, iron, and diamond axes have lower attack speed than swords. Diamond axes have slightly higher attack speed than iron axes, as do stone iron axes.

Diamonds Swords are one of the most powerful melee weapons in the game, as well as one of the most expensive.
Diamonds are hard to come by with many different uses, so you may want to use stone or iron swords regularly.
However, if you have spare diamonds, crafting swords is a good way to ensure your chances of survival.

A fully charged bowshot will deal 4 and a half hearts of damage, even more with enchantments and enchanted arrows. Quite a bit more skill-based than previous entries, the sniper is very much possible. Mobs won’t be a problem as they won’t even get close, though players may present a harder target to hit.
Stocking up on arrows is pretty much a requirement though, you may find yourself going through multiple stacks quickly!

Crossbows were recently added to the game with the 1.14 update. The heavy crafting requirements are offset by up to 5 and a half hearts of damage in a single shot. Also more accurate, with a longer range than an ordinary bow.
Shooting slower and greatly reducing movement speed when aiming provides some balance to the game. You can also enchant him with Multishot, shooting 3 arrows at once!
It is recommended to keep a loaded crossbow in your inventory for a quick damage boost for any matchup.
2. trident

How to get: Upgrade a diamond sword with Netherite by blacksmith table. Netherite can be obtained by finding ancient debris in the bottom.

added in the bottom update, Netherite Swords are upgraded diamond variants, with more damage. Dealing up to 8 damage is insane, and that’s without enchantments.
Obtaining one is not an easy task, with netherite being a particularly rare resource in the Nether.
Overall, the Netherite Sword hits for the most damage of any weapon in the entire game!
